A list is not a shortlist.

You can find hundreds of Chinese company names online. What you can't find there is which of them actually exist as described, which are serious, and which will still be answering in three months. That takes checking — and checking takes a person here.

When emails go unanswered.

Much of day-to-day business communication in China happens by phone and WeChat, often in Mandarin. When a message goes unanswered, the reason is rarely visible from overseas. What fixes it is usually the same: someone here who can pick up the phone and ask, in Mandarin, today.

You can't fly over for everything.

    Calls, checks, visits, coordination — done from China, with direct communication throughout. The person responsible for your project stays involved from scoping through delivery.

  4. You get a clear report.

    What was done, what was found, what it means, and what we suggest next. Evidence where it exists: photos, registration extracts, call summaries.
